Greenbelt Corridor Park
Denton’s Natural
Located about 9.3 miles, or an 18 minute drive, away from the Denton Square.
The Greenbelt Corridor is a 20-mile multi-use trail that meanders alongside the Elm Fork Branch of the Trinity River.
No hunting or firearms are permitted.
One of the area’s most popular nature trails, it runs north and south from below the Ray Roberts Dam to the headwaters of Lake Lewisville, offering 12 miles for equestrians and 10 miles for bicyclists and hikers.
For a $7 daily entrance fee, or with a Texas State Parks Pass, adventure seekers can take off from one of three trailhead/access points (FM 455, FM 428, or US 380) equipped with restrooms, parking, and access to the river for kayaks and canoes.
