Park Crawl FAQs

What is the Park Crawl?
The Park Crawl is hosted by the Denton Parks Foundation as part of Parktober, a month-long celebration of Denton parks. This fundraising event offers a unique evening of walking a 5 bar beer trail to try each of the 5 Denton County Brewing Company "Brews Benefiting Parks" flavors. It's our goal to give participants a night of playing like a kid and partying like a grownup. With 80s and 90s snacks, interactive games, and 6 oz. brews at each location you'll be glad to be adulting!
-
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
All attendees must be 21 years of age by the date of the event. IDs will be checked at registration.
-
What are my transport/parking options?
Thanks to the Denton Main Street Association, they've got an entire page dedicated to all the parking options in and around downtown Denton as well as the best way to get from the A Trail to the heart of Denton. Plus, bike in and lock your bike down by Rusty Taco, or any of the spaces available long the square.
-
What can/can’t I bring to the Park Crawl?
Can: water, small backpack, snacks (though we'll have some as well), camera/phone, money for shopping or donating to DPF, and a great attitude ready to have some fun!
Can't: children, babies, pets, bottles, cans, or carry-in alcohol.
-
What should I wear?
Get ready to go on a playdate, minus the kids! Wear your best playground gear appropriate to the weather that night. Who knows, it could be hot, chilly, or even raining. Either way, prepare for fun!
-
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the Park Crawl?
You do not need to bring your printed ticket to the Park Crawl, we will be able to register you with a photo id.
-
What is the refund policy?
This event will be held rain or shine and refunds will not be provided, however tickets are transferable to any other adult 21+. Just let us know at least by October 19, 2021 who will be coming in your place.

What about COVID-19?
In order to provide a safe environment for our attendees and host sites, we have made the decision to use disposable & recyclable cups at each location instead of reusable glassware. Some business may have their own COVID-19 precautions such as capacity limits, requiring masks, or masks for unvaccinated attendees. Please respect their wishes and abide by each store's policy. Harassment and verbal abuse will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave the event.
