The Denton Parks Foundation is proud to partner with sponsors like you for the new Inclusive Playground.
Most parks and playgrounds are designed with a focus on able-bodied children and play styles. Inclusive playgrounds ensure that all people can experience meaningful play and the benefits of physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development. Every community should have sensory-rich, inclusive playground equipment.
All children have the right to play.

Playing enables children to practice decision-making skills, discover their own interests, and is an integral part of the way children learn.
All-encompassing environments allow people of all ages and abilities to develop independence, feel included, and contribute to meaningful play experiences.
Our goal is to raise $1,250,000.
Help fund the Inclusive Playground.
Funding will reduce the overall cost to taxpayers, help phase in enhancements to the park experience, and build and maintain a safe and fun environment for people to play.
